Marietta, GA February 6, 2018 – Mark your calendar! Saturday, March 24th promises to be the most intense day of competitive lacrosse action during the entire 2018 high school lacrosse season.
The all-day AJO4LAX Fest, now in its 12th installment at Pope High School stadium, showcases five premier match-ups:
10am – Westminster vs Walton
Noon – Centennial vs Starr’s Mill
2pm – Lovett vs Lassiter
4pm – Johns Creek vs Lambert
6pm – Pope vs Blessed Trinity
AJO4LAX is a non-profit organization that helps promote good teen choices through fund raising efforts tied to the promotion of youth and high school lacrosse in Georgia.
Proceeds also help fund scholarships established to honor the memory of Andrew Oswald, a star Pope High School varsity attackman who tragically died in a single-vehicle automobile accident in 2005. The annual AJO4LAXFest takes its name from combining Andrew’s initials, the #4 game jersey he wore, and his passion for lacrosse.
Last year the Fund awarded its 19th and 20th college scholarships to area students who continue playing the sport at the college level.
For ticket, or sponsorship information, to make a tax-deductible donation, or to request a scholarship application, contact Bruce or Kathleen Oswald, 2702 Long Lake Terrace, Roswell, GA 30075 (678) 777-3041, email@example.com, or visit www.ajo4lax.com.

Dodgen and Dickerson Lining Team Volunteer signup
Welcome to the "Sign up Genius" part of the Walton Jr. Spring Lacrosse lining team. Please pick 1 or 2 weeks that you will be able to help line the fields, and the field (Dodgen or Dickerson) that you will be able to line. We need 2 people per location per week. The fields are generally cut by Wednesday morning, so we need the fields to be lined by Thursday afternoon if possible and sometimes, depending on the weather, the fields may need a little touch up at Dodgen on Saturday a.m. We will have a meeting to discuss the details on procedures, how to use the equipment, cleanup, sharing contact info, etc.. as soon as I hear back from everyone
In the meantime, please sign up and reach out to me directly via e-mail or cell phone if you have any questions
Thank you very much

Please join us in congratulating Philip Colt and Hannah Nodar as the recipients of the Rutger Colt III Scholarship Award!!!
Lacrosse has been a part of Philip’s life for as long as he can remember. He has been a part of the Walton Jr LAX program as well as being involved at the High School Level for the past 4 years. Philip has excelled in the classroom, on and off the field at Walton from Lacrosse, to Band, and through his community service work. He will be attending the University of GA this fall and he plans on trying out for the UGA Men’s LAX Team.
Hannah Nodar is not only an accomplished student-athlete, but also committed to helping the greater Walton community. She grew up a product of our WJLA program and during her high school years, Hannah was a dedicated youth coach and girls referee. She was a leader on and off the field - active in the National Charity League, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and selected to the Principal's Leadership Committee. Hannah will attend Furman University this fall and plans to major in Politics and International Affairs.
The Walton Junior Lacrosse Association is built on succeeding through embracing the values of sportsmanship, commitment, education, community, and family. All members of the program will uphold these values by exhibiting hard work and respect for coaches, parents, officials, teammates, and the game of lacrosse. Our program is designed to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for all boys and girls who participate, while developing their skills and knowledge of lacrosse.
